- Additional faults or repairs may be identified during servicing or diagnostics.
- Where practical, we will obtain customer approval before undertaking additional work that may result in additional costs.
Appointments and Bookings
- Customers are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance.
- While we make every effort to complete work within estimated timeframes, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, supplier delays, or additional repair requirements.
- Estimated completion times are provided as a guide only.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate vehicle information
- Inform us of known vehicle faults or concerns
- Remove valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle
- Collect the vehicle promptly following completion of work
- Ensure contact details remain current and accurate
AR Auto Tech is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside vehicles.
Payments
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
- We reserve the right to retain possession of a vehicle until outstanding invoices have been paid in full, where permitted by law.
- Late payments may incur additional collection or recovery costs.
Parts and Components
Vehicle repairs may include:
- Genuine manufacturer parts
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts
- Approved aftermarket components
Part selection may depend on availability, customer preference, manufacturer recommendations, and vehicle requirements.
Warranties
Any warranty provided on workmanship or replacement parts is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier or manufacturer.
Warranty coverage may not apply where:
- Repairs have been altered by a third party
- Vehicle modifications have been made after repair
- Damage results from misuse, accidents, neglect, or normal wear and tear
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under:
- The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
- The Fair Trading Act 1986
- The Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017
- Any other applicable New Zealand legislation
